The set of very basic readers contains 5 books: nohkomitwêw (My Grandma Said), kapâmohtêyak sakahk (When We Walk in the Forest), êkwa, nitawi-otinikêtân! (Come on, let's go shopping), pahkwêsikanihkêwak (Baking Bannock) and wâpam tipiskâw-pîsim (Look at the moon). There is approximately one line of text on each page in Cree, with the English translation written beneath.
