Children use the weapon of peace in their fight against violence. Yeny and her family escape the violence in their Colombian mountain village to live in the city. Violence is also in the city, however. Her uncle is kidnapped and Yeny faces a bully at school. Yeny's friends organize a peace carnival. As the peace carnival gathers momentum, they decide to hold a national vote for peace. The story is based on a true event.
