This in-depth writing resource for students examines four key areas for writing: the foundations, the strategies, the forms, and finally the writing life. Each of these four sections are broken down into chapters. All chapters begin with a focus list, specific to each chapter and go on to provide provide strong information with examples. Further to the examples, there are periodic practice ideas listed in dialogue boxes that support the content. Each chapter ends with readings that were referred to or used in the content of the chapter or in the practice ideas presented.
