Young Quail learns life lessons through the love of his family. Quail learns about feelings - it is okay to be mad, but not to try to hurt others with words. He learns that when he is happy, he twirls and his wings draw a circle. His father tells him that it is his sacred circle and no one can go inside the circle if Quail does not want him or her to do so.
