As a young girl living on the Okanese First Nation, Dawn loves to read and she carries this throughout her life. In this book, Dawn's humour describes life on the reservation. Included are stories about playing bingo, making halloween costumes, and traveling in a station wagon to visit family and friends on reservations located in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
