This learning guide is Part 1 of a two-part manual to learn about AutoCAD 2021. It explores the essential topics of the software. It introduces essential core topics to create and edit 2D drawings. Not every command is explored but the user will be introduced to the AutoCAD workspace and user interface, the basic drawing, editing and viewing tools, drawing objects on layers, blocks, preparing a layout to be plotted and adding text, hatching and dimensions.
