Step-by-step, this book shows how little Zinnia prepares for, plants, cares for, and enjoys her flower garden. The flowers include varieties that can be grown in Saskatchewan such as aster, sweet William, sweet pea, black-eyed Susan, zinnia, snapdragon, sunflower, marigold, and cosmos. The art work was made from copies of fabrics and photos that were cut and pasted onto paper painted with gouache. At the back of the book, there is a short guide on how to grow flowers.
