Jake, the 16-year-old narrator, earns his driver's licence and is involved in a serious accident the same day. He leaves the scene of the accident and must deal with his inner conflict. Jake learns that doing the right thing is not easy. This is a story about responsibility and accepting the consequence of one's action.
