After his seventh birthday, Theodore (Ted) is removed from his family and sent to an Indian residential school. He resides at the Fort Alexander Indian Residential School and the Assiniboia Indian Residential School for the next 12 years. Ted speaks from the heart about his experiences and the impact the Indian residential school system had on his life. Starting his healing journey, Ted overcomes abandonment issues, alcoholism and self-hate.
