In this program, students learn about The Seven Grandfather Teachings, also known as The Seven Sacred Teachings. This is a set of teachings on human conduct towards others. They are what was traditionally and still is needed in order for communities to survive. The teachings - love, respect, courage, honesty, wisdom, humility and truth - cannot be used in isolation and are interdependent. The program is hosted by Curve Lake First Nation entertainer Missy Knott and viewers also meet Coast Tsminshian First Nation Elder and educator, Shannon Thunderbird, who explains each teaching.
