This board book describes the importance of beadwork in Métis history. It states that Métis beadwork is an integration of Indigenous and European art styles and that beadwork became a strong Métis symbol. It was used to decorate clothing, as well as jackets and blankets for their sled dogs and blanket saddles for their horses.
