In this sparsely worded picture book, a young boy is very proud to wear his new hat. He begins to doubt his choice, however, when a bully in the park calls his hat dumb. Fortunately, other children come along and tell the protagonist that his hat is cool. In the end, the children work together to befriend the bully. Bright simple illustrations complement the text.
