The three plays in this collection examine the themes of home, identity and race. In the first play, "Afrika Solo," Sears follows her roots back 400 years to Africa. In her journey, she explores home, heritage and identity. Set in the 1970s, "Come Good Rain" revisits the night when Seremba meets the Ugandan President, Milton Obote. Written in part in reaction to Jacques Parizeau's remarks about "ethnics" following the 1995 Quebec referendum, Gale questions the rules of identity and place in Canada in "Je me souviens."--Ministry of Education website.
